Gardening and learning about plants is a vital part of the Life Science program at CGCS. Miss Schroeder teaches students about photosynthesis and many other Science Standards. Students are taught about soil composition (what’s in soil). Clay is naturaly in soil.
Our first plants grown from bulbs. Our first tomato plant. Delicate little flowers.
Giant sunflower blossoms at different stages. Seeds of the giant sunflower will form in the center of the blossoms. Students screen rocks from soil in preparation for planting.
